The Polish coalition of Clean Clothes Campaign is being currently established by four organizations: Grupa eFTe, Polish humanitarian Organization (PHO), Polish Green Network (PGN) and KARAT Coalition. All the organizations has been cooperating in past years on issues related to the working conditions, CSR and consumers’ awareness. KARAT is a CCC partner for years, cooperating also with other partners in CEE. For the past 2-3 years KARAT and PHO has been running awareness raising and education projects directly related to CCC and in cooperation with CCC coalitions in other EU countries. Currently PGN starts its project on similar issues. Grupa eFTe, PGN and KARAT were supporters of PlayFair2008 campaign. All four organizations organized common actions in the past and establishing Clean Clothes Polska (CCP) is a kind of formalization of this cooperation and our cooperation with CCC IS.
CCP will be functioning based on CCP Agreement which includes CCC Principles and areas of work. In particular the aims of CCP are:
- Supporting garment workers in Poland and abroad
- Public awareness raising on working conditions in garment industry, social responsibility of companies and consumers and their role in the process
- Putting pressure on (in particular Polish) garment companies in order to improve working conditions in their production chains
- Supporting development of ‘ethical fashion’ in Poland
- Monitoring and supporting the implementation of ‘ethical fashion’ in Polish companies
- Popularization of CCC activities in Poland and participation in and contribution to CCC at international level
These aims will be implemented through:
- Information (in particular websites, information materials, events, cooperation with media)
- Education (workshops, education materials, cooperation with schools and NGOs)
- Campaign (implementation of particular international CCC activities in Poland, local campaign actions, support for related campaigns)
- Dialog with (mainly Polish) garment companies
- Participation in other initiatives related to CCC activities
- Cooperation with Polish and foreign partners (exchange of information, experience, common activities)
In the CCP Agreement the involved organizations specified a number of principal based on which CCP is going to function in democratic, transparent and inclusive maner.
Currently CCP is hosted by KARAT Coalition. It was agreed that the function of coordination organization will be rotary.
CCP is going to be officially launched in December 2009 at a conference on CSR organized by one of CCP member – Polish Humanitarian Organization in cooperation with Toruń University.

CCP jest nieformalną koalicją organizacji działających na rzecz poprawy warunków pracy w globalnym przemyśle odzieżowym, zwiększania odpowiedzialności społecznej i zaangażowania w te działania zarówno firm jak i konsumentów.
